Goals & Qualities

This section discusses a sample of 16-18 year old's consumer preference on factors such as goals/ambitions and qualities such as level of activity or emotional stability. To view the drawbacks of this study, please visit the drawbacks tab in the menu.

Working Mother

Goals

1.)  Although the obvious next step for many of those in this age group is college, a significantly large proportion of respondents selected that their strongest goal/wish was future oriented such as job and lifestyle.

2.) The answer choice for college was included under academic goal and was explicitly written as such.

 3.) The goal of these questions was to understand a trend among this age group relating to goals or ambition.

 

4.) This information can be used to help target this age group in settings such as advertisements, stores, or activity areas due to their goals/wishes.

Runners

Qualities

1.) The majority of this age group responded that they are in between in terms of letting their emotions affect their decision making ability.

2.) A majority of this sample responded that they are either very active or fairly active.

​

3.) The majority of this sample is extroverted, with 12.3% not sure.

​

4.) A scale of 1 to 5 was used to record the first two questions

​

5.) This information can be used to help understand emotional/mental stability, level of physical activity, and personal qualities like how outgoing or not outgoing the sample is.
