The Original Work Experience Focused:

Prior to beginning the Original Work project, I already recognized the amount of effort, time, and skill it would take to see this project through. With my project being as complicated and analytical as it is, I was knowledgeable of the effort demanded of me to complete it beforehand. However, understanding how much work it would be to research and analyze severely differed from actually doing all of the work. Conducting credible research, compiling only the utmost valuable resources, and analyzing all the research required much focus.

I wanted to truly understand each source and evaluate whether it was credible, valuable, or outdated. Then, I extracted parts of different sources to support my next development of my project. I first came upon a source which provided several personality traits and their facets which contribute to consumer behavior. After understanding each of the facets and traits, I began to formulate a survey composed of questions created based upon the facets and traits from before. I composed questions based upon these factors to help ask questions to the consumers that would reveal consumer preference patterns among the age groups. Without disclosing that my survey is aimed at understanding consumer behavior based upon age group, I created this survey and asked simple questions such as "what is your favorite color?"

My next steps are to analyze survey results, compose strategies for each age group, and display all the information collected on an online database. Overall, I have enjoyed diving deep into my topic and am much better prepared for college and my professional career in terms of researching and analyzing.
